The Christmas A5 Exhibition includes work by local artists and photographers; the perfect chance to snap up affordable and original works of art. The exhibition runs until 20 December.
Friday 6 December – DANCE: Tea Dance
Our ever-popular Tea Dance returns with live music and refreshments. Experienced dancer and enthusiastic beginners welcome. No booking required - just come along and join in the dancing. Doors open 1.30pm; dancing from 2pm-4pm. £5 entry payable on the door.
Saturday 7 December – FILM: Elf (PG)
Buddy, a fully-grown human raised by elves in Santa's workshop, discovers his real father is living in New York and has been put on the naughty list for his meanness and grouchiness. Buddy is determined to find his father and help him rediscover the spirit of Christmas. His simple good nature leads to hilarious adventures and mishaps along the way. Son of a nutcracker! Friday 13 December – FILM: The Bishop's Wife (U)
A 1947 seasonal romantic comedy classic starring Cary Grant, David Niven and Loretta Young. When a Bishop is frustrated in his efforts to raise money to build a new cathedral, he looks to heaven for guidance. However, when Dudley arrives, claiming to be an angel, Henry is skeptical, then irritated as Dudley ingratiates himself into the household and into the affections of his wife and daughter. Can Dudley mend the strained relationships and bring everyone together?

Tuesday 31 December – DANCE: Hogmanay Family Ceilidh
A great way for all the family to enjoy the Hogmanay celebrations with live music from the Chitterybite Ceilidh Band, a few party games and a great atmosphere. Doors open at 7pm; music starts at 7.30pm; finishes at the family-friendly time of 10.30pm. Licensed Bar. Tickets £8 (£6 students/under 18s) available from Strathearn Artspace or online.

Freestyle Dance & Fitness
A dance and fitness class that explores various dance styles and encourages you to dance to the intensity you please, request songs, chat, sing along and generally have fun while exercising your body and mind.
